Sport Development in a region cannot be measured only based on one indicator of medal achievement in multi-event competition, but can be done by measuring open space, human resource (HR) and the public participation in doing sport activities. Although it's a simple thing, but it will give the right information about long term development clearly, especially in sport sector which is more relatable with other development sectors. The purpose of this research was investigating the index of open space, the index of HR and the index of public participation. Technique of sampling in the research used Stratified random sampling with cluster sampling and the amount of the sample is 270 people. The research used evaluation method. The technique of collecting Data used observation, questioner, and document. The result of the research showed the amount of the index of open space was 0,711, the index of HR was 0.0010, and the index of public participation was 0,237. The conclusion of this research is Wonogiri Regency have enough open space for sport but has few HR of sport. This describes that the Wonogiri still in great need of human resources involved in sport will be able to develop and promote the potential of sport in Wonogiri. Meanwhile, the public participation in Wonogiri Regency in doing sport is very less; there are only 0,237 people in Wonogiri Regency who participate in sport, minimum three times a week, although they are provided good enough open space. It means that sports development Wonogiri is far from developed. Many things need to be considered and addressed by the government to promote sports development in Wonogiri.

Sports Development in Karanganyar Regency Indonesia In terms of sports development index (Evaluation Study On Open Space, Human Resources, Sports Participation, And Physical Fitness For The People In Karanganyar Regency)This study aims to determine and evaluate: (1) the level of physical fitness of people in Karanganyar Regency, (2) the availability of open space in Karanganyar Regency, (3) the availability of human resources in Karanganyar Regency in exercising, (4) the level of community participation in Karanganyar Regency ( 5) sports development index (SDI) in Karanganyar Regency. This research method uses quantitative methods. Samples were 270 people from 3 sub-districts using cluster sampling techniques. The Study of Sports Open Space Area Factors in Affecting the Levels of Community's Sport Participation in Slawi Sub-District, Tegal Regency, IndonesiaSport Development Index is a way to measure the improvement of sport development in a region. The qualitative data is collected through observation, document analysis and interview, while the quantitative data is taken by using a norm method of Sport Development Index. The result shows that the number of sport development in Padang based on the index of sports human resource management is 0.00082. According to the Sport Development Index, this number is within the range of 0.000-0.499. It means that sports human resource management belongs to low category quantitatively and qualitatively, or in the other words the quantity is deficient and the quality is low. To conclude, the sport development in Padang belongs to low category, thus the regional government needs to pay more attention and improve the sport development in the city.

Sport Development Index of Banyumas RegencyThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the local government’s success in its development, especially in the field of sports from the aspect of open space availability, community participation, sport resource, and community fitness level (Sport Development Index). Therefore, an evaluative research approach was employed in this study. The research employed both stratified random sampling and cluster sampling techniques. The population basic characteristics included the differences of regional progress level, gender between male and female, age ranging from children aged 7-12 year old, adolescents aged 13-17 year old, and adults aged 18-40 year old, while the basic cluster characteristics used were district and sub-district or village. Sport for All in Indonesia: A Review of Sport Development ConceptBackground: The development of appropriate and comprehensive sports for all levels of society is essential in every regional development step in sports. Various approaches have been made to study the development of sports, but the primary system is sport development and development through sport. At the same time, both systems relate to facilitating sport participation. Methods: The method used was a systematic literature review (SLR). The literature search was limited to articles published from 2012-2019 in the research database, including in Elsevier and Taylor and France online. Result: This review provides a comprehensive and systematic view of sport for all and sport development from previous research to assess community participation through several sport programs to create a healthy active lifestyle. Conclusion: This review shows a shift in the concept paradigm from sport development to Sport for Development. Sport is not only to create a healthy active lifestyle, but also a medium for maintaining and enhancing social relationships and stimulating and increasing sensitivity to mental, emotional, and character building aspects.

The sports development index is one way to measure the improvement of sports development in a region. This research aims to determine the availability of sports human resources in Samarinda City, reviewed from the Sports Development Index (SDI). The study was conducted in five sub-districts in Samarinda City, taking data from three institutions as a scope of research, including the Education Department, the KONI/DIASPORA of Samarinda City, and other Non-Formal Institutions. Research methods use a survey method approach with a quantitative descriptive approach reviewed from SDI. The research instruments used are observation, interview, and analysis of documents. The data obtained is further analyzed using SDI analysis to investigate sports human resources (HR) availability. The results of this study show; The sports HR Index in the Education Department 0.00062 falls into the low category. The HR Index of the KONI/DIASPORA 0.00035 belongs to the low-level category, and the Non-Formal Institutional HR Index 0.000062 belongs to the low-level category. Overall the sports resources index in five sub-districts in Samarinda City of 0.00080 belongs to the low-level category.

Analysis of Public Policies on Development Sports in Ngawi District2021 •
This research aims to analyze the public policies implemented by Ngawi district government in sports development for the 2016-2021 period. This research is a descriptive qualitative research to analyze the policy documents of ngawi district in sports development by using public policy content analysis. The analysis of this research discusses the description and analysis of documents as well as discussion of the results. The results showed that Ngawi district policies were in the form of formal policies that used written decisions and were passed by the Regent, Legislative Assembly, and related agencies. Ngawi Regency has a policy direction in sports development in fostering human resources and infrastructure to increase the quantity of achievement. Sports Facilities and Local Government Policy: A Case Study in West Java, IndonesiaThe completion of the sports facilities available in each region is not evenly distributed, apart from the 4th largest population in the world, the various sports activities carried out by the community must be supported by means of transport. Support, the availability of sports facilities is affected by the policies of each regional government. SPOrT (Integrated Sports Development Center) Jabar Arcamanik is a sports complex owned by the West Java Regional Government. The aim of this article is to provide an overview of the emergence of local government policies in the provision of sports facilities. The case study method used in this study is the semi-structured interview and observation as a data collection tool, as well as the participants involved, namely the head of the relevant department and the management of the sports facilities. The presence of sports facilities is the implementation of local government policies through the transformation of national and regional development plans, in order to bridge the gap between regions in terms of infrastructure development. Infrastructures for sports facilities bring cultural heritage and benefits to the community. Therefore, the construction of sports facilities can be achieved when policy makers have a desire and understanding of regional regeneration associated with regional development, the allocation of budgets related to the needs are determined and adjusted to current regulations so that the benefits from the availability of sports facilities can be felt by the community.
