Study was carried out to examine the effect of application of resistance band in the female boxers on the levels of the anaerobic power and Maximal Bench Press force (MBP). The study was carried out on 12 female subjects, in ages between 19 and 23yo, who are actively engaged in the boxing branch. The subjects were divided into two groups, each consisting of 6 people, as Constant Resistance (CR) and Wavy Resistance (WR). The average age of CR group was 21.33±0.81 years, the average height 169.67±2.06 cm, and the average body weight 65.28±8.95 kg. The average age of WR group was 21.16±0.75 years, the average height 173.50±3.27 cm, and the average body weight 65.56±3.19 kg. In the study, the exercise of resistance band was made by all subjects four days a week for 6 weeks between the hours 9.00-10.00, boxing training for competition period between the hours 18:00–20:00 in evenings. In CR group, the bands in the same color and resistance were used by the method of the black band constant, resistance, in WR group, the bands in different color (red, blue, black) and resistance by the wavy method. Before training, the body weights, and the levels of anaerobic power and MBP levels of both groups were determined. The same measurements were repeated six weeks later. In the statistical analyses of the data obtained, in determining the differences between in-group test and the final test, Paired-sample t-test was used. In determining the difference between two groups, pre-test and final test, independent samples t-test was used. The significance between differences was determined at the level of P<0,05. As a result; as a matter of fact, it can be said that the constant resistance method of CR group is more effective than the wavy resistance method of WR group. Hence, conducting the studies of resistance band that will be conducted specific to branch, using the method of constant resistance, can be more effective.

The Effects of Two Different Resistive Loading Patterns on Strength, Hypertrophy, Anaerobic Power and Endurance in Young WrestlersIntroduction: Maintaining a quality of life and also doing regular resistance training are the hallmarks of a fit person. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of resistance training (RT) on the selected physical and physiological variables among the university males. Method: This is an experimental research with a pre and post-test design which includes a resistance training and a control group. Sixty male participants were selected for this study who were assigned into two groups; group-A (N=30) experimental group, and group-B (N=30), control group. The participants' age was in the range between 18 to 22 years. The duration of the RT program was 45 minutes, twice per week. All the subjects were tested before and after the 12-week program. For statistical analysis, ANCOVA and SPSS 16 were used. Descriptive statistics was applied to observe the differences among the participants from the pre to post-test. Results and Discussion: According to the results, the effect of RT on the selected physical variables was significant i.e. body composition, explosive power, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility. There was also a significant difference with regard to the physiological variables i.e. resting pulse rate and breadth holding time. Lastly, no significant difference was observed for blood pressure (systolic) and (diastolic) showed changes from the pre to post-test. Conclusion: This is evident that RT is beneficial for the improvement of physical as well as physiological variables. The higher number of training sessions in a week will be more effective in improving overall fitness level among the students.

Consequence of resistance band training on selected skill performance variables among basketball playersThe idea of this study was to explore the consequence of resistance band training on selected skill performance variables among basketball players. To achieve this purpose of the study thirty school level boys basketball players were selected from St. britto has, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India were randomly selected as subjects. Their age ranged in between 14 and 17 years. The subjects were divided into two groups namely resistance band group and control group. The resistance band group was subjected to resistance band training (for weekly three days Monday, Wednesday, Friday) at evening session for six weeks. Dribbling, passing and shooting was selected as dependent variable. After the collection of appropriate data, it was statistically analyzed by using paired 't' test. The level of significance was set at 0.05. The result of the present study showed that the resistance band training has significant improvement on dribbling, passing and shooting of basketball players.

The main purpose of the present study was to find out the effect of low resistance and high resistance training on selected physiological parameters of soccer players. For this study, total sixty (60) male Soccer players are selected as subject from Manipur University who participated in the national level competition. The age of the subject were ranged between 18-24 years. They were divided into three groups consisting of twenty(20) subjects in each group and randomly assigned as experimental group (A) underwent Low Resistance Training , Experimental group (B) underwent High Resistance Training and assigned as control group (C). Pre-test and post-test data were collected before and after completion of Resistance training on selected physiological parameters i.e cardiovascular Endurance and Resting pulse rate. After the initial tests, the low Resistance Training and high Resistance training were administered to the two experimental groups, where no special training was administered to the control group. The training program was administered for the period of six (6) weeks, four (4) days in a week in progressive manner. The requirements of the experimental procedures, testing as well as exercise schedules were explained to them so as to avoid any ambiguity of the effort required on their part and prior to the administration of the study, the investigators got the individual consent from each subject. To find out the significance of mean difference among pre-test, post-test and adjusted means and analysis of co variance techniques were employed. The level of significant was set at 0.05 levels. On the basis of statistical technique it was concluded there was significant improvement on selected physiological parameters.

Comparative Study of Resistance Training with Different Frequency on the Selected Machine Exercises Among University Males2022 •
The purpose of this study was to compare the resistance training groups with different frequency in a week on the selected machine exercises among university males. Method: Hundred participants selected randomly to join and part of this research study. Participant’s ages were in the range of 18-24 years, forty minutes of training per session. These subjects separated into two groups such as; group-A (N=50, two days of training in a week for eleven weeks), group -B (N=50, four days of training in a week for 5 and half weeks). Both the groups had gone through 22 resistance-training sessions. The impact of resistance training protocols with different frequency in a week on the groups in the selected exercises i.e. (leg press, leg extension, leg curls, high pull downs, sitting shoulder press, rear delt, sitting extensions and arm curls) had shown significant improvement. Furthermore, interestingly the group-A had shown greater performance in all the selected resistance training exercise...
