This research aims to identify the effectiveness of assessment application based on Decision Support System (DSS). This effectiveness is viewed from teacher's needs and accuracy of this application in detecting impairment suffered by children with special needs. Research method used in this research is qualitative method with the subject of data are teachers from 10 cities in Central of Java teaching children with special needs. This research's result shows that the effectiveness assessment application based on Decision Support System (DSS) is suitable with teacher's need, namely: % very good, 7,,% good, ,,% not very good, and % not good. While, accuracy test's results of assessment application based on Decision Support System (DSS) are 50% very good, 40% good, 7.5% not very good, and 2,5% not good. It can be concluded that assessment application based on Decision Support System (DSS) effectives to meet the needs and accuracy in identifying and assessing.

Pondok Pesantren (Boarding School) is a model of classical education that is still recognized their work at the international level. As an indigenous institution, school emerge and continue to grow from the experience of sociological surrounding environment. Cultural roots is what makes schools can survive and is expected by the world community and government levels. The purpose of this study to describe the management of the boarding school both new and old to have a world-class quality that includes management and governance, and academic tradition of learning and methods Tahfidz. This study found that a boarding school who intend to go international to the world-class quality, should improve the universal institution both in terms of management and governance. Good management is to optimize the role of each of the management functions optimally with international quality and have a lot of network or networking both within and outside the country, and managed by the best human resources, means of pre facilities to support, funding sources are clear and adequate, the curriculum is designed according to the needs. Sulaimaniyah educational institution is an educational institution devoted to the study of the Al-Qur’an and memorize the Qur'an. Especially for the Qur'an by the institute using a method Tahfidz Ottoman Islamic Boarding School that is different from Tahfidz in Indonesia. In addition, the system of teaching in UICCI Sulaimaniyah Boarding School different in that in addition to emphasis on the activities of memorizing the Qur'an. This Boarding School also provides a teaching that emphasizes understanding of Arabic language books and supported by quality infrastructure as well as the international standard education system, currently own UICCI Sulaimaniyah have 6.000 branches spread across the country.

ISLAMIC AND JAVANESE COSMOLOGY AS A PHILOSOPHICAL CONSTRUCTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL ETHICS2016 •
This paper aims to establish a philosophical construction of environmental ethics through the two views of Islamic and Javanese cosmology. The approach used is a philosophical approach. The discussion on it will be directed to explore the views of cosmology in order to build a theoretical arguments philosophical construction of environmental ethics. This argument gives understanding to the man about the "cosmic maze map", and man's place in the "map" is. Through such understanding, it is expected to change the man’s views against nature, so it can have contribution to the development of environmental ethics to respond to the problem of environmental damage in both the local and global scale.

It is held by the Faculty of Education of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Indonesia; in collaboration with University Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia and Centre for Islamic Thought and Education (CITE) – University of South Australia (UNISA), Australia. The 3rd ICEMS 2017 is intended to provide an opportunity for various stakeholders of education, especially in Muslim society around the world to share their works, opinions and experiences in an open academic forum. The theme of this year’s conference is “Education in the 21st Century: Knowledge, Professionalism, and Values.” The theme attempts to reflect various aspects of both thoughts and research findings related to education in Muslim societies, ranging from curriculum, research and development, new pedagogy and andragogy, values and character building, leadership and management, to classroom action research. The aim of this research is generally to determine level of regular teachers' competency in inclusive school in Surakarta city, Sukoharjo regency, and Klaten regency. To be more specific, this research aims to: determine regular teachers' background in inclusive school, (2) have ever been involved in inclusive education training, (3) determine and understanding the level of pedagogy competency of children with special needs in inclusive school. The subjects used in this research are 45 high school regular teachers of inclusive school in three regencies/cities, namely, Surakarta, Sukoharjo, and Klaten. Data is collected through questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed by descriptive statistic. The result of this research shows that education background of high school regular teacher of inclusive school is mostly specific subject
Pendidikan Islam sebagai bagian integral dari pendidikan nasional pada sebuah negara bangsa (nation-state) kita hari ini, memiliki persoalan yang kompleks dan penuh dinamika. Sehingga berbagai trobosan yang komprehensif perlu dilakukan untuk menjawab tantangan perubahan peradaban yang terkait dengan dunia pendidikan itu sendiri. Sebagai sebuah karya ilmiah yang tentunya berusaha mengikuti perkembangan terkini dari persoalan pendidikan yang kompleks tadi, maka buku ini berupaya memetakan persoalan pendidikan secara menyeluruh. Pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif digunakan sebagai metode ilmiah dalam membedah dan menganalisa persoalan pendidikan yang dipaparkan dalam buku ini. Lebih jauh tulisan yang dimuat dalam buku ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh para pendidik (dosen) dilingkungan Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam (PTAI) dari Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia.
