4. Description Abstract

In the social community of Gostivar, several linguistic communities are highlighted, where different varieties of their speakers are also highlighted, such as the Albanian, Macedonian, Turkish, Roma, Bosnian, Serbian, etc. linguistic communities. All these varieties of linguistic communities have been created as a result of the migration of people from rural to urban areas and from individuals of mixed marriages coming from different countries, who also carry the language of their own country. The research methodology was a diachronic and synchronic approach and aimed to discover some isoglossal linguistic units (synonyms), which are reflected in different varieties, therefore several methods were used such as the historical method of scientific theory, empirical method, method of findings, qualitative analytical and generalization method. The sample of this research was intentional, but random, which was carried out in March 2021 in the city of Gostivar with 24 Albanian individuals, 15 women and 9 men. The research was conducted with semi-structured questionnaires with some interviewed remotely via Microsoft Teams and personal e-mails, using different varieties of Gostivar's speech. This work is focused on three objectives: reflect the findings of language units according to varieties; classify language units in tables according to parts of the lecture; reflect the synthetic analysis of linguistic units, where phonetic changes are observed.
