MODELO INTEGRAL PLE: RESPUESTA A NECESIDADES DOCENTES ACTUALES / INTEGRATED PLE MODEL: ANSWER TO CURRENT TEACHING NEEDS
Abstract
The Personal Learning Environment is a set of tools that facilitate the teaching and learning process, teachers today must adequately choose these tools to streamline, improve and innovate educational processes. The objective of this research proposal is to analyze the dimensions, purposes and parameters that make up a PLE and to identify the degree of application and use of technological tools to configure a teaching PLE that responds to the needs generated today. Methodology: it is descriptive and comparative, with a sample of 121 subjects, an instrument validated by Cronbach's Alpha α=0.930 is applied, with 47 items in 5 dimensions. Results: three theoretical approaches are designed (technological, didactic-pedagogical and social communicative) and the orientation, sense and purpose are presented as reference and support for the construction. Conclusions: Significant difference was observed between men and women regarding the use of mobile devices to create and edit content. A proposal for the construction of an intelligent integral PLE that meets current needs is presented.
