FÉLICITER EN LIGNE EN CONTEXTE UNIVERSITAIRE FRANCOPPHONE AU CAMEROUN: ANALYSE SOCIO-PRAGMATIQUE / CONGRATULATE ONLINE IN FRANCOPHONE ACADEMIC CONTEXT IN CAMEROON : A SOCIO-PRAGMATIC PERSPECTIVE
Abstract
Cet article scrute les stratégies discursives déployées par les locuteurs francophones pour féliciter en ligne en contexte universitaire au Cameroun. Il expose ainsi les ressources langagières, les typologies de stratégies discursives et les valeurs et les contenus culturels véhiculés par l'acte de félicitation dans ce contexte. L'étude s'appuie sur un petit corpus constitué des échanges natifs en ligne archivés sur le réseau social numérique WhatsApp. Les conclusions révèlent la complexité de l'acte de félicitation en contexte institutionnel. Les stratégies adoptées par les locuteurs mettent en lumière la dynamique des rapports de places institutionnelles, les codes communicatifs et culturels, les systèmes de croyances, l'ethos communicatif et l'hybridité culturelle.
This article investigates the discursive strategies of French speakers when congratulating online in a university context in Cameroon. The study focuses on language resources, discourse strategy typologies and the values and cultural contents conveyed by the act of congratulation in this context. The research is based on a small corpus of native online exchanges archived on the digital social network WhatsApp. The conclusions point to the complexity of the act of congratulation in an institutional context. Strategies used by speakers highlight the dynamics of institutional place relations, communicative and cultural codes, belief systems, communicative ethos and cultural hybridity.
