DELEDDA E L'OPERA "CANNE AL VENTO". APPROCCI DIDATTICI DELLA SCRITTURA CREATIVA / DELEDDA AND THE OPERA "CANNE AL VENTO". EDUCATIONAL APPROACHES OF CREATIVE WRITING
Abstract
This study tries to approach Deledda's work "Canne al vento" through the landscapes, the special characters and the concepts and virtues that emerge from the book. The pedagogical intervention of Creative Writing can help those learning a foreign language to get in touch with alternative ways of writing, expressing and experimenting. Through the allegorical title and the essential weakness of human nature which projects itself against external forces, the apprentices are mobilized from the beginning of the book for a creative approach. Furthermore, the description of the characters and the concepts they deal with give rise to creative activities. The concept of devotion, destiny, guilt and redemption, but also altruism, arrogance or love, the folklore tradition and the mystery that occupy this work, can become stations of didactic and essential practices of Creative Writing, so that our apprentices follow their own personal writing and expression paths, even in the foreign language course.
