ANALYSE DES PRODUCTIONS PROJECTIVES DES PERSONNES DU TROISIÈME ÂGE VIVANT AUX HOMES
Abstract
La présente étude, qui s’inscrit dans le domaine de la psychogérontologie, vise à évaluer le fonctionnement psychique des personnes du troisième âge résidant les homes à travers leurs productions projectives. Pour ce faire, elle recourt à l’entretien clinique, au test de l’arbre de Koch et au test de personnage de Machover. Ces outils ont été soumis à 5 personnes de troisième âge contactées dans les homes de vieillards de Kinshasa. Les résultats montrent que les productions projectives des personnes du troisième âge révèlent leurs différents conflits psychologiques et les mécanismes psychologiques pour y faire face. A cet effet, les productions projectives sont des moyens d’expressions de personnes de troisième d’âge face aux différents conflits auxquels ils font face.
This study, which falls within the field of psychogerontology, aims to assess the psychological functioning of elderly people living in homes through their projective productions. To do this, it uses clinical interviews, the Koch tree test and the Machover character test. These tools were submitted to 5 elderly people contacted in old people's homes in Kinshasa. The results show that the projective productions of elderly people reveal their various psychological conflicts and the psychological mechanisms to cope with them. To this end, projective productions are means of expression of elderly people in the face of the various conflicts they face.
