OPORTUNIDADES PARA EL DESARROLLO DE TURISMO EXPERENCIAL Y SOSTENIBLE EN LA RESERVA VALDIVIANA, CHILE / EXPERIENTIAL AND SUSTAINABLE TOURISM IN THE VALDIVIANA RESERVE
Abstract
Nowadays it is key for many people to get away from the stress of big cities, and get away from the big crowds during holiday periods, to enjoy nature and have a closer contact with the environment, something that seems increasingly difficult. in a globalized and massed system. From this premise arise tourist projects whose objective is to offer an unforgettable experience to the guest, based on nature and personalized activities in a unique environment while still having the comforts of a classic hotel to which we are accustomed, without forgetting that the impact produced must be minimal and in any case, positive in the environment. Chile has the potential to be an excellent option for this type of project since it has unique natural resources in South America, with large parks and natural reserves recognized by international organizations. We will try to demonstrate the potential of the Valdivian coast as an experiential and sustainable tourist destination, emphasizing the opportunity that this represents for independent hotel projects that value settling in the Region as long as they are projects based on respect for the environment and its culture.
