ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF PRIZREN DURING XIII - XV CENTURY
Abstract
Scientific studies of many researchers show that Prizren during the developed feudal period was among the most economically developed territory in the Balkans. Kjo vije edhe si rezultat edhe i infrastrukturës rrugore, sidomos Rruga e Zetës, “Via de Zenta”. Nga aktdhurata e Nemanjidëve, e vitit 1348, lëshuar për manastirin e Shën Arkangjelit Mihail dhe Gabriel, mësohet se në Prizren dhe rrethin ushtroheshin disa veprimtari ekonomike si: Zejtari, bujqësia, blegtoria etj.This also comes as a result of the road infrastructure, especially road of Zeta, "Via de Zenta". From the gift act of Nemanjideve of 1348, issued for the monastery of St. Arkangjel Mikhail and Gabriel, it is known that in Prizren and adjacent area some economic activities such as handicraft, agriculture, livestock, etc were exercised. Ndër veprimtarit ekonomike dalloheshin lëkurëpunues, këpucëtar, endës të tekstilit, prodhimi i kallajtë, prodhimi i dyllit dhe kultivimi i bletarisë, etj.The economic activities such as of the currier, shoemaker, textile weaver, tinny production, wax production and cultivation of beekeeping etc were known. Zhvillimi i veprimtarive ekonomike ne qytetin e Prizrenit kërkoi nevojën e themelimit te Konsullatës së Raguzës në Prizren më qëllim që të mbroj interesat e tregtarëve dhe të ketë zhvillim më lehtësues për tregtarët.The development of economic activities in the town of Prizren urged the necessity of the establishment of the consulate of Raguza in Prizren in order to protect the interests of traders and facilitate the development for traders. Kështu, me 8. III.Thus, on 8 III 1332, Raguza, themeloi konzulatën e saj në Prizren. 1332, Raguz has founded its consulate in Prizren. The Konsulli mbronte interesat e tregtarëve raguzan si dhe organizonte panaire të madha me karakter ekonomik në qytetin e Prizrenit. Consulate has protected the interests of traders of Raguza and organized big fairs of economic character in the town of Prizren.
