Modalities of Payment - Mollie

Mollie is an online payment service provided by Mollie B.V. (Netherlands) which accepts most of Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Cartes Bancaires (France), CartaSi (Italy), V-pay credit\debit\pre-paid cards. Excepting the cases of local regulations\restrictions, all the cards that display the above mentioned logos are accepted, no matter the origin country. In order to be able to complete the payment, the cards have to be enabled to do online (internet) payments. Veryfing \ enabling are free of charge operations offered by the bank that issued the card.
Beginning with May 2019, Mollie accepts payments made via ApplePay. This feature is available when accessing the payment link with an Apple device with the Apple Wallet aplication installed. More details here. A list of coutries where ApplePay is available, here.
 
A. Payment procedure

The charged amount is 85USD + a currency exchange fee (between 1.5 and 3.5USD depending on the currency of the card).
 
B. Observations
 
1. The required info (name of the cardholder, card number, expiration date, CVV code) have to be introduced in the proper fields, correctly, completely and in the right order, without abbreviations. If any error occur, the transaction will not take place. The transaction will continue after introducing the proper information.
2. The currency of the bank account related to the card can be other than USD; a wide range of currency being accepted. The amount charged will be automatically converted and will represent the equivalent of the processing charge exprimed in local currency Depending on the country, on currency and on the policies of the bank which issued the card a small aditional charge may be added.
3. Transactions are made using P-link application using Mollie secured servers with SSL encripted connection. All the provided information are received, stored and processed on secured servers provided by Mollie fulfilling the European Banking Authority guidelines and supervised by Dutch National Bank (DNB).
