UN ESTUDIO EMPÍRICO SOBRE EL HÁBITO DE CONSUMO MEDIANTE EL USO DE TARJETA DE CRÉDITO EN JÓVENES UNIVERSITARIOS / AN EMPIRICAL STUDY ON THE HABIT OF CONSUMPTION THROUGH THE USE OF CREDIT CARD IN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to find out how young people are using their credit card, based on a series of recommendations suggested by CONDUSEF. In addition, it seeks to know if they have the necessary information to use their credits in a responsible way, because the information collected in the works carried out by Solano et al. (2015), where "Determinants of the use of credit cards in Mexico" are identified, makes us question the role of financial education or the lack of it in the young population of Mexico. Thus, in order to verify the previously questioned, real tests were carried out, through surveys to the young population of the Veracruz-Boca del Río Conurbation Zone.
